History

How long has the method been around?

The method was developed in 2010. It arose from a specific request by a corporation and has been constantly developed and perfected since then.

How many people have already worked in this format?

A serious estimate documents that to date, over 1,500 people have completed the MindShift coaching with Angelika Höcker and Stefan Aretz.

What differences in quality arise when you do it remotely?

The body language focus is limited by the screen, but facial expressions are more noticeable. The home office atmosphere is really beneficial. The familiar place promotes the willingness to open up more quickly.

Why do we need two experts?

Because of our professions, we look at it from different angles: Once from the outside in: On how you express yourself and what seems to be important to you in communication. Secondly, we look from the inside out: At what prevents you from expressing yourself the way you really want to. The two points of view complement each other in the tips and suggestions, which are highly individual and enable you to really get going.

How confidential is the whole thing?

The success of this work is based on 100% confidentiality. Any form of diagnostic or talent assessment to third parties is excluded. Angelika Höcker, Stefan Aretz and Claudia Schwartz have committed themselves to confidentiality.

Can you do it in pairs or more than one person?

It is advisable to go through the MindShift coaching alone first. In a follow-up format, the results can then be compared and discussed with several people.

Is this a pure business format?

The MindShift coaching specialises in role behaviour in business. Even though people repeatedly report that it has also significantly changed and influenced them in their private lives, it remains business-oriented.

Which topics are suitable?

All situations in which you want to adjust and/or strengthen your communicative effectiveness are suitable. Here is a small range of the topics we mainly encounter: assertiveness, visibility, negotiation skills, leadership topics, dealing with your own boss, staff meetings, difficult conversations or presentation situations.

Is it possible to book the MindShift coaching in English?

Yes, we offer the format both digitally and in presence in English. In this version, the two experts are Stefan Aretz and Claudia Schwartz.

Preparation and transfer

Do you have to prepare anything?

Yes. A central task is to work on a pre-work sheet. Therein you focus your concern and define the desired goal. It needs a real willingness to reflect and to put a strong question to yourself!

Is there a follow-up programme?

Yes. There is a MindShift coaching two, which builds specifically on the insights and shifts the focus from reflection to training. There will also be a digital training course in the future, which can be completed individually and from home at your own pace online.

What happens afterwards?

An integral part of the MindShift coaching is the transfer through an individual training programme, another reflection exercise and feedback after about six to eight weeks. For more complex issues, another meeting makes sense (after six to seven months).

Costs

What does it cost?

The process costs 1,400 euros per person.

For an on-site attendance day at the customer's location, we charge a total of 4,200 euros for three participants and thus three processes.

How many people are included in one day?

The coaching procedure can be carried out both in presence and digitally with three people per day in succession. Each client should plan one hour of preparation, two hours of MindShift coaching and three to four hours of transfer work. This means that the process can be calculated as seven hours of learning time per participant.

Until when can I cancel an appointment free of charge?

The cancellation deadlines are based on the GTCs, according to which an appointment can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to four weeks in advance. From then on, 100% of the costs are charged.

Place and duration

Where do we meet?

We work remotely via Zoom or Teams, as well as on-site at the client's premises. Either directly at the company - in a conference room that cannot be looked into from the outside or in a nearby hotel. Alternatively, we offer premises in Berlin and Cologne.

How long does it take?

Each participant should invest one hour of preparation, two hours of MindShift coaching and three to four hours of transfer training.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

If you want to book a whole day for your company, this is possible with preliminary lead time of four to six weeks. Should you decide to book a single appointment remotely, we can also find a date within two to three weeks.

Is the whole thing also available remote?

Yes, both the feedback from the participants during the two years of Corona as well as the effects of the development confirm, that remote is an adequate model.
